I think it is better to use the browser’s built-in content zoom features which scale text, images, and other content 1:1 so that the design stays intact as the developer intended, and you are able to read the site with larger text (zoomed in).Try Josh's keyboard command suggestions. They work really well. In fact, much better than the text resizing option I provided previously.
You can zoom in usually by pressing Cmd+Shift+PLUS and zoom out by pressing Cmd+MINUS in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. There is a similar command in IE7+, but using Cntrl key instead.

Text Resizing
Some of you may notice that I've removed the "text resizing" buttons at the top of each page on this website. I did this for a couple of reasons: (1) removal results in the website loading and running faster, and (2) there's a better way to do text resizing for those of you who desire this feature.
