Editing audio can be an exacting process. The fewer edits you need to make, the better. However, all of this is determined by how well your original recording session went. There are several important details about setting up the Audacity file and folder, doing the editing itself, and saving your work. I highly suggest watching the tutorial movie before starting any editing.
